Dick
Avery has been active on the wine scene for over 40 years; first as
a collector, then as a sommelier, then as a wine consultant. He published
“The Wine Letter”, a monthly newsletter identifying exceptional
wine values from all over the world.
Upon
moving to San Miguel de Allende, he discovered the exceptional wines
of Mexico and began promoting them to individuals, stores, and restaurants.
He writes
a monthly wine column for Atencion,
San Miguel’s local newspaper.
